Description:
This session aims to educate students on what careers are available with Marie Curie and the benefits of working for a charity.
We aim to have an overview of what the Charity does, followed by a discussion around career opportunities. Then we will look at how fundraising enables all of those people to do their jobs and help communities.
Finally we will round off the session discussing how your class can do their own fundraising activity and highlight the skill they will learn and be able to add to their CV's.
DYW Context:
The session will allow students an insight into the third sector, the skills needed and opportunities that there are. As well as giving them the opportunity to gain some skills right now by getting involved and fundraising for us.
