The Senior Phase Help Desk supports learners through live spotlight sessions with specialist subjects teachers. The S4-6 Learning Space signposts learners and teachers to the live, recorded and supported resources.
‘My Way' is an online video gallery featuring a diverse range of people talking about how they have achieved success in their chosen field.
Contributors talk and answer questions about what it is they do, obstacles they may have overcome along the way, and the people who have supported
and influenced them. 'My Way' is an inspirational resource, showing that there truly is 'no wrong path' for young people in Scotland today.
The format is a brief presentation, followed by questions from learners using the interactive chat function. Sessions are broadcast live here however if you miss any of them they can be viewed on demand afterwards.
In addition to our regular DYW Live provision, which can be accessed here, our partners are contributing some additional, open-access webinars to e-Sgoil's timetabled provision for January, to provide further support to learners at home during periods of remote learning or self-isolation. These work-related sessions will be streamed directly below and there will be an opportunity for Q&A via a chat function. No registration is required.
You can access our Health & Wellbeing Chill Space here.
It is suitable for BGE and Senior Phase learners with resources for inspiration, relaxation and wellbeing.
We have 4 exciting live sessions that were developed for young people in S4-6 focussing on Mental Health and Wellbeing. They feature Brian Costello who is the Director of Headstrong. These sessions will be streamed live on Thurdsays from 5.15-5.45 pm commencing 27th January and will be recorded to allow access on demand. This is a four part Mental Health series but each one can be used as a stand alone learning session.
