Building on skills used in previous Games Design sessions, this provides an insight to Scotland's space industry whilst learning about the problem of space junk. This will help young people continue to expand on the game design skills they have already learned and create a space themed game where they will look at targeting the issue of space junk and what is being done to address this. As well as building on their knowledge of skills needed in digital careers, this will help them understand how the space industry is growing and the careers available within this.

This session is ‘fully flexible’ in its delivery, meaning we can deliver on any weekday at a time that is convenient for your learners.

DYW Context:
Understanding the skills needed for future jobs.

Additional Requirements:
Each learner will need a digital device (tablet, iPad, laptop or PC) and access to https://makecode.microbit.org.
