Listen up! Join Nicola Killean, the Children and Young People’s Commissioner, and children across Scotland, to celebrate rights on World Children's Day, with a particular focus on the right to be heard.
At this fun, interactive assembly with BSL interpretation, children can:
- take part in a musical body percussion session run by Solar Bear
- hear about children’s rights and the UNCRC
- share their views with children across Scotland about where they feel heard
World Children's Day – the birthday of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) – is a celebration of children’s rights. This would be a great way for your school to take part in global activities to mark the day and to find out more about the power of listening to children.
