Description:
Micro-Tyco is a leading global entrepreneurship competition which challenges young people to work together and develop innovative solutions to address The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This challenge asks young people to identify an issue, aligned with an SDG of their choosing. In response, students then have 30 days to develop and address an innovative solution. Teams have the unique opportunity to consult with leading business professionals to help develop and gain expert feedback on their ideas. Top-performing teams will be invited to pitch their ideas to a judging panel of representatives from leading global brands. By working in collaboration with our corporate partners, young people are provided with the inspiration to build their idea, the knowledge to guide it, and the networks to amplify it. The Micro-Tyco experience helps young people to develop an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset, regardless of their background.
The sessions will introduce the challenge and offer teachers some insight into how to bring the challenge to life, their will be 2 further follow-up sessions where educators ask some questions and share their thinking in a collaborative network group.
