Description:
The course will look to provide an introduction to the many areas of innovation, research and technology development across the offshore renewable energy industries.
- Session One: aims to provide a general introduction to engineering and renewable energy.
- Session two: aims to introduce offshore wind power and floating wind power.
- Session three: will introduce the use of robotics and autonomous systems in the operations and maintenance of offshore renewable energy assets.
- Session four: aims to provide an overview of wave power technologies.
- Session five: aims to provide an overview of tidal power technologies.
- Session six: will investigate future technologies on our path to Net Zero.
