Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025
Education Scotland, e-Sgoil and Skills Development Scotland are working in partnership to deliver a range of inspirational talks from apprentices throughout Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025, taking place 3 – 7 March.
Apprentices share their own experience of what it’s like to be an apprentice and the help they get on their apprenticeship to learn skills that support them and their employer. The sessions will help pupils make informed decisions about their future.
To support your lesson planning, a range of 30 minute pre-recorded presentations from apprentices working in a range of different sectors will be made available from Monday 3 March, to watch at any time during the Week and beyond. These are sourced from DYW Live sessions delivered over the last two years.
This year, there will also be four, 45min live panel sessions on Microsoft Teams. In each session, a group of apprentices from different companies, but linked under a common theme, will come together to share their experiences of taking an apprenticeship. Pupils will have the chance to ask questions throughout the session.
