Heritage Careers Week 2025
To Celebrate Heritage Careers Week, DYW Live has a week of live webinars taking place from Monday 27th - Thursday 30th October, suitable for Primary 5 - Primary 7 stage learners.
Sessions will be 45 minutes and will be delivered via Microsoft Teams (Glow not required). Session info can be viewed below.
All sessions are free to attend and full information on each session is above. After registering you will be emailed a link where you can access the sessions. The linked webpage will contain an option for you to add the session to your calendar, or you can just click to join directly on the day at the correct time. Sessions will also be recorded and available on the webpage afterwards.

| Tuesday 28th October | 10:00 - 10:45 | The Work of Archives | This fun workshop will look at some of the many jobs that can be found within an archive service - from archivists and records managers to conservators and family historians. Pupils will use what they have learnt to match skill sets to job titles to think about the part each role plays in savings the stories oft the people that have come before us. |
| Wednesday 29th October | 10:00 - 10:45 | Explore Archaeology | What is archaeology? What does it take to be an archaeologist? Uncover the answers to these questions during our fun online introductory workshop with presentations, activities and quizzes. |
| Thursday 30th October | 10:00 - 10:45 | Marseum: Build a Crew for the First Museum on Mars | The year is 2050 and a human community is settled on Mars. You are part of the team building the first Museum on Mars. Join us to put together your crew and build your museum! |
